	<title>Carb Counter</title>
	<description>
You probably thought a carb counter was some kinda machine
Well it can be. Like an abacus that you carry around. Or a calculator, or something you just keep a tally of in your head. That is typically what people refer to when they think of a carb counter. Here, we view it a little differently, or are at least going to take it for another spin based upon a couple of observations of late. By carb counter, we are referring to the guy over there who is putting the mow down on that BLT -- minus the bread, of course -- and telling everyone how health conscious he is.

This man is the classic carb counter.
He believes carbohydrates, or the lack thereof, are key to his personal revitalization.
Exercise? Not on his radar screen at all. Why would it be? Exercise sucks!
Dietary concerns other than carbs? Not even a glint in his eye.

But there he is, counting his carbs as he pounds down his sixth bacon sandwich of the week. Dude, it's a bacon sandwich. You are going to have to be a little more diverse with your diet and maybe walk around a little bit each day if you want to get rid of that spare tire or several you've got. Ever think of that? What the heck good does it do you to be an obsessive carb counter if you completely let yourself go to crap otherwise? The lesson here is simple. Health and wellness are important, but you cannot find a quick fix. Sure, being a carb counter here and there is helpful. But look at the big picture already.

The assistance of a low carb counter in inspiring us, albeit unwillingly, to make this page was great. We would like to thank one Mr. Steve Christensen for his assistance in this regard. Check out our site and its many links for more info.
